This has been an absolutely draining week... besides the usual teaching and life (and even one whole blog post!) I gave two big public talks (and failed to find time to write up either of them, sorry), attended two private workshops, had hours and hours of faculty meetings, and much more besides... all on about 3 hours of sleep a night. Ugh. But through it all, I at least had two nice dramatic set pieces to follow: my beloved Brewers and my old pal James's beloved Mets finally deciding that "pennant races" meant trying to win rather than trying to lose; and John McCain's Hamletizing of tonight's debate. So tonight I'll be watching the debate on the TV, following the Brewers and Mets games on the computer, and maybe even doing some of the "live-blogging" that I hear is all the rage with the kids these days. Or not... but that's the plan.
UPDATE: sorry, can't do the live-blogging. Especially since it's 22 minutes into the "foreign policy debate" and foreign policy hasn't yet been mentioned.
Live-blogging today's Brewers game would have been more fun anyway.
