Hail the Brewers! In 1983 I was a graduate student in Madison. A great team then. Let's hope for as good a team, at least, now.

You gotta root for them all the way. Not only has the "small market" team made it to the play offs, neither NY team did! I think its been like 15 years since that has happened. Not sure about a WS title, but they got a good shot of taking the pennant.

As a person who grew up in Wisconsin (Stevens Point), though a Braves fan - thanks to TBS, I can't help but cheer for the Brew Crew. Inshallah' they don't lose in the first round.

But hey, I'm happy for you Cheeseheads. It's been much too long since the Brewers have been in the playoffs. Good luck, but not too much. heh

Nice! My grandparents will be happy. I get sit in New York City biting my nails hoping the White Sox lose today against Detroit so the Twins go to the playoffs without a one game playoff!

C.C. will be a Yankee before New Year's Day. And while I won't pretend I don't want to see the Cubbies take it, congratulations -- my team was finished by Labor Day.

As an Indians fan as well as a fan of CC, best of luck to you guys! I'll be pulling for the Brewers.

A pox on the Brewers! May Sabathia's left arm lose its cunning! Go Phillies! (From a Phillies fan who was going to games at Connie Mack Stadium before you were a glint in your father's eye!)

How about those Mets, by the way? Do they have some kind of horrible disease, or what?

Brian Ulrich

Sabathia is more likely to be a Met or Dodger than a Yankee.
