October 20-21. The Middle East Today: New Perspectives on a Changing Landscape. Two day conference at the Crown Center for Middle East Studies, Brandeis University. I'll be speaking on Saturday about the future of the Muslim Brotherhood. Registration forms available at the link.
October 26. DACOR Annual Foundation Conference – “The Middle East” – GWU Campus. Panel on Iraq. I assume this is open to the public, but am not sure of the details.
Did I mention that I have two articles due by October 19 and a giant pile of midterm essays to grade? Did I already whine about jet lag? Poor old me - I feel a self-pitying rap coming on. OK, done. Back to work.
Welcome back Marc, I hope you had a good time in Cairo. I am looking forward to hear your impressions about the visit. I will try to make it for the October 20-21 conference in DC and listen to your assessment of the future of the MB. Hope to see ya there.

May the teach-ins continue! There have been scores of them and each one takes another chip out of the Bush block.
