Ah, don't worry about it. You're entitled to a summer break. Moving makes it mandatory.

Hi Abu....Nice to hear from you. Here is a bit of local Jordanian news you might be interested in and which might be considered too "micro" for the big events we hear so much about. In Amman the Jordan Inbound Tour Operators Association is getting ready for its first "Tourism and Hospitality Career Forum" in the tourism sector. The Career Forum is simply a get together between employers in the tourism sector and Job seekers to talk about possibilities, opportunities and challanges. We are often told in Jordan that the tourism sector annually generates 5000 jobs. Well, now is the chance to see the figure spelt out and spilled out. The career forum represents a corner-stone for economic, social and potential political change, because it is here in this gathering, minds, mind-sets and hearts are hoped to be changed, where positive attitudes among the locals towards employment in tourism is supposed to replace negative sterotypes about the shame culture and were economic growth is supposed to replace a stale culture. The career forum is between 31 July - 1 August.
