Nur al-Cubicle

L'Orient-Le Jour reports that Iraqi authorities are arranging for the release of six Iraqi women in US custody. Fingers crossed.

I wonder if someone here in Cairo (her colleague Dan Murphy?) called Akef. Anyway, let's pray she makes it out okay. I don't know her personally but everyone I talk to who does know her says she's a wonderful person, and is really upset about it and holding their breath.

Trust me, someone will pay the ransom.

Anna in Cairo

the Arabist dot Net has an article about an Egyptian friend of Al Zawahiry calling for her release, with text from his actual message, very good that this is happening.
