"Have yourself a merry little non-denominational fourth Saturday in December!" sings the decrepit looking aardvark on the left. May you all have a happy one, spent with those you love!
Diamond Christmas Card copyright Dave Sim, Jeff Smith, Martin Wagner, and Larry Marder, who hopefully don't mind my sharing! (thanks, everyone, for filling in the blanks... I'm especially embarrassed for getting the Hepcats artist's name wrong!)
And now for the only question worth asking (thanks, Margaret!)
Looks like "more work" is the answer, alas... Anyway, Merry Christmas!
UPDATE: if anyone knows why Typepad keeps losing images, I'd love to know it. The image above was definitely there as of yesterday, now it's gone. I've reinstalled it, but really I shouldn't have to. When, oh when, will Typepad get its stuff together again?
Wow -- it breaks my head to think of Cerebus, Fone Bone, and a Bean in the same panel. Who's the figure all the way on the right?
(Our cat was named after the princess Thorn in Jeff Smith's comic Bone. And we're both huge fans of Tales of the Beanworld...)

The fourth character is Erica from Hepcats by Martin Wagner.
When is that image from? Going by how Cerebus is drawn, what Cerebus says, and the fact that Sim and Jeff Smith are apparently still on speaking terms, I would assume it's several years old.

I've no idea Abu, but if you want to move your set of pigs, er, aaardvarks over to wampum's set of servers, we've MT, and I can generally explain what I loose.

The fourth person to credit in the copyright would be Larry Marder. (And that was Wagner, not Walker... ^_^ )
