I will be out of town until the beginning of October, on a combination of work and pleasure.
I'll be in Vancouver for a couple of days this weekend at an extremely interesting workshop organized by my friend Richard Price. Other participants include Kathryn Sikkink, Marty Finnemore, Christian Reus-Smit, and a bunch of others. Yes, it's Constructivists-Central up at the University of British Columbia this weekend. We'll be hatching top-secret plans on how to exploit our great victory and achieve world domination. Legitimate world domination, of course, achieved only through the finest and most communicative and most consensual of means. Actually, the workshop is exploring what IR constructivism can contribute, if anything, to making tough, real world normative choices in world politics. My paper is on the Iraq sanctions.
After that, I'm taking care of the kids in California while Mrs. Aardvark works. Wheee!!!!
I don't expect to be posting anything before the first Monday in October. See you then! I do expect to be checking email periodically, though, so if you need to reach me you can give it a shot.
Ack! I just missed Christian Reus-Smit today. He was in Berkeley and gave a talk but unfortunately I was knocked out with a cold today and couldn't go. I wish I could be a fly on the wall of that conference. Is there a website with info about it? Abstracts, maybe?

But what does Mrs. Aardvark do? I've always wondered.

Any chance of putting up your paper for us mere non-contructivist mortals to read? I worked on this topic eons ago as an IR student, it'd be interested to see it.
