Matt also has the good grace on his weblog to acknowledge that he was wrong in his early support of the war.

Most of the early war supporters who are aware of the disaster have not been able to bring themselves to do this, whining, "If only the administration had followed the policies I recommended."

Matt has been honest instead, admitting that it should always have been obvious that this crew would make a disaster of the war, even if it might have been theoretically possible to make it a good thing.
