Let me add my own voice to those fervently hoping that Jill Carroll of the Christian Science Monitor is returned safely by her kidnappers in Iraq. I hadn't said anything before because the Monitor had expressed that the less publicity the better, but now that they have gone public with the story I just have to say something. No politics, no analysis... just the deepest possible hope for her life, and support for her friends and colleagues.
