Al Jazeera: the 2005 Iraqi elections

Check it out here - even if you don't read Arabic, you'll still see how much attention al Jazeera is paying to the elections.  Among the links (on your right) you'll find news coverage, analysis, pictures, talk shows, an electoral map, on-line voting and a chat room.  And remember that all of this is being done while al Jazeera is officially banned from the country, forbidden from covering any official events.

Comments

For those who speak no Arabic, Al-jazeera has an English Web site, which is really good for a non-western perspective on the Middle East.

And yet, that damn Fox news can *still* say with no proffering of evidence to back themselves up that al Jazeera is "the terrorist's choice". I just heard some shmuck on Fox say that yesterday.
