9/11 Commission: The Lakers Won!
The 9/11 Commission Describes The Lakers' Victory, by Stephen Hayes: "Vindication! At last, the 9/11 Commission Report has proven what I have said all along: the Lakers won the NBA Finals this year. Don't look at the 'final score' or the location of the 'championship trophy' or - god forbid - the media coverage. Look carefully at what the report actually says. In several of the games, the Lakers actually had the lead. Think about that - the Lakers were winning... often for long stretches of the game. Page 437 of the report describes the look on Rasheed Wallace's face in the third quarter of game 4 - does that look like the face of someone who is winning? And on page 357, what are we to make of the fact that Shaquille O'Neal went out to dinner on Tuesday night - would he really have done that if the Lakers were losing. Case... Closed!"

If you carefully examine the document's reconstruction of the strategy of Lakers coach Phil Jackson, you can see why. While the Lakers didn't actually 'win games,' Jackson was carefully plotting ahead to the future ... a future we must not let happen. If you think the Pistons are sleeping easy these days... think again!"
But don't miss Spencer Ackerman, still lost in a land called Denial. Does he really think that a Larry Brown coached team featuring Rasheed Wallace could have won? It just goes to show the depths of depravity and self-delusion of the Left.
